Marinade
Marinade is a leading staking protocol on Solana, used by +150k users. I owned brand and product design, leading the full rebrand and rolling it out across the app, website, and launches while continuing to ship new features.
My work sat at the intersection of brand, product, and engineering, with a strong focus on execution, consistency, and usability.

Challenge
The Marinade team needed to move fast on product development while preparing a full rebrand and public launch.
The challenge was to ship a high-quality rebrand, redesigned product, and new website without slowing engineering velocity or compromising UX.

My Role
1. Full rebrand and design system delivery
I led and shipped Marinade's full rebrand end to end, building the brand book and design system from the ground up. I used Midjourney to explore and generate brand visual assets.
2. Product, website, and launch execution I designed and shipped the new Marinade website alongside core product updates, working closely with engineering to ensure quality, clarity, and performance from concept through launch. For prototyping, I leaned on Claude Code to move fast — spinning up functional component prototypes early in the process so engineering conversations could happen around real interactions rather than static mocks.
3. Continuous product improvement Beyond launches, I designed and delivered new product features and UX improvements inside the app — running iterative UX workshops grounded in real user feedback and on-chain data to continuously sharpen the product experience.

Results
As a result, we shipped a full rebrand across the product and website while continuing to deliver new features without slowing development. By leveraging shadcn as the foundation for the product UI, we accelerated feature shipping and maintained consistency at scale. In parallel, we built free, brand-aligned marketing tools that acted as low-friction entry points, helping attract and onboard new users into the Marinade ecosystem.
